The Rotary Club of Grand Junction is set to 'shred it up' for charity at their shredding party this Saturday (April 23).

This is the second year the club has offered a way for individuals and businesses to safely get rid of personal and sensitive documents and help local organizations in the process.

The shredding party will be at Two Rivers Convention Center this Saturday (April 23) from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per bank sized box.

This is an easy - and secure - way to clean out old documents you no longer need and free up valuable space for all the important papers you'll need to file this year. It will also save you time, not to mention the extra wear and tear on your home or office shredder.

You can also bring E-Waste, except televisions, which will be collected by Goodwill Industries to the event.

Money raised from the shredding will benefit Partners, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
