Colorado Mesa’s football 28-20 win over Adams State last Saturday was crucial for the Mavs in the RMAC standings.

The Mavericks are ranked fourth in the weekly RMAC poll that came out Monday. The top three teams are Colorado Mines, CSU-Pueblo and Black Hills State.

The Mavericks are at home this Saturday as they host Chadron State at Stocker Stadium. For the first time this season, Colorado Mesa will have an afternoon game, starting at 1:00 p.m.

In another Maverick sport, Colorado Mesa’s volleyball team continues to do well this season, and is ranked second this week in the RMAC polls, following Colorado Mines at No. 1.

Rounding out the top five are Metro State, Colorado Christian, and Adams State. The Mavericks are scheduled to play Metro State Thursday night, Colorado Mines on Friday and Colorado Christian on Saturday.
