Darrel Akerfelds was a professional pitcher for five seasons from 1986 to 1991 with the Oakland Athletics, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers and Philidelphia Phillies. He was also the bullpen coach for the San Diego Padres before his death in 2012.
Brendan Donnelly is a former MLB pitcher who won the World Series in 2002 with the Anaheim Angels. He was also on the Boston Red Sox Roster during the 2007 World Series Championship and pitched a winning game during the 2003 All-Star Game.
Rand Ready was a second baseman / third baseman / left fielder who played between 1983 to 1995. Ready played for the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies, Oakland Athletics, and the Montreal Expos. He was also a minor league coach for the Detroit Tigers and Padres.
