Pepsi is going back in time to introduce two new soft drinks to the 21st Century.

The new beverages are called 1893 Original Cola and 1893 Ginger Cola. The names come from the year Pepsi was founded.

According to thestreet.com, the new soft drinks started hitting retail stores this week. .

Based on what the label on the can says, the new soda will feature Kola nut extract, dark brown malt flavor, a touch of aromatic bitters, sparkling water, and real sugar.

Will Grand Junction Pepsi lovers go for the new cola? Or will the response be similar to when New Coke was introduced  in a wave of terrible reviews? The difference here, of course, is the traditional Pepsi is not going away. So, if you don't like the new original soda, you can always stay with the tried and true red, white, and blue Pepsi.

I'm ready to give it a try!
