O’Reilly Auto Parts Store Moving In Next Door to AutoZone

As unusual as it may seem, a new O'Reilly Auto Parts Store is moving in next door to the North Avenue AutoZone.

Just a few weeks ago, we noticed the abandoned house next to the North Avenue AutoZone had been demolished, which increased the attractiveness of North Avenue a hundredfold. The folks at AutoZone may be wishing they still had the eyesore to look at.

Work has already begun close to AutoZone on what apparently will be a new O'Reilly Auto Parts store, as in next-door neighbors. A wise man once said, "you can never have too many auto parts stores." Oh, wait, maybe it wasn't a wise man, maybe that's just something I read on the internet.

It seems a bit odd to open a new store right next to an existing auto parts retailer. But when it comes to retail competition, there really are no rules.

Just recently we saw Freddy's open up right next door to Burger King. My guess is that Freddy's would prefer not to be right next door to another hamburger joint, but, if that happens to be where some available property is located, then what are you gonna do?
