Former All-Pro cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha (NAHM'-dee ah-SUHM'-wah) is set to announce his retirement today after 11 NFL seasons.

Asomugha was named to three Pro Bowls and was a two-time All-Pro in eight seasons with Oakland after being selected in the first round of the 2003 draft. He struggled during his two seasons in Philadelphia and was released by San Francisco last month after appearing in just three games.
