The 79th NFL draft of college players starts this evening in New York's Radio City Music Hall.

The first pick this year, barring a last-minute trade, belongs to the Houston Texans, who were 2-14 last season. Completing the first 10 picks, again barring any trades today, are the Rams, in a pick obtained from the Redskins in the Robert Griffin III deal a few years ago, Jacksonville, Cleveland, the Raiders, Falcons, Bucs, Vikings, Bills and Lions.

Some of the top names on the board this year are quarterbacks Johnny Manziel (man-ZEHL') of Texas Tech, Blake Bortles of Central Florida and Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville.

Each team has 10 minutes in the first round to make a selection. A year ago the first round consumed three hours and 33 minutes.
