Two teams going in different directions are squaring off tonight in the NFL Monday Game. The Dallas Cowboys are off to a 6-1 start while their NFC East rival Washington is 2-5. The last time these teams met was last December when the Cowboys prevailed 24-23. In the overall series the Redskins lead, 64-42.2.

This is the 16th Monday night meeting for these clubs. The Redskins have dropped seven straight prime-time games and are 4-15 on Monday nights since 2000.

Redskins backup quarterback Colt McCoy could start in his first appearance at the home of the Cowboys since Texas beat Nebraska for the 2009 Big 12 championship game. He'll only get the start if Robert Griffin III isn't able to go. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo has won seven of his last 10 starts against the 'Skins.
