With it being Martin Luther King Day, the NBA has a top-heavy schedule of day games. Of the 10 games on the schedule, seven are being played this afternoon.

Three of those games feature a first-place club as the Southeast leading Miami Heat are in Atlanta to face the Hawks while the Clippers of the Pacific are in Detroit and the Raptors, who top the Atlantic Division race, are at Charlotte.

The other day games feature the Mavs in Cleveland against the Cavaliers, Washington home to Philadelphia, Brooklyn and the Knicks in the Garden and Memphis home to the Pelicans.

This evening, Portland, the lead team in the Northwest Division, is at Houston; Indiana, the leader of the Central, is at Golden State and the Lakers are in Chicago.
