Palisade, Colorado, knows how to put on a parade! Classic automobiles, marching bands, fire trucks, and even Uncle Sam came out to participate in Palisade's "Dreams Come True Under Red, White, and Blue" Independence Day parade.

This was the scene on Iowa Avenue in downtown Palisade on Monday, July 4, 2016. Those in the parade gathered near the fire station at 8:30 to begin lining up. The parade set out at precisely 9:00 a.m. sharp (and I mean 9:00 sharp... not 9:01, not 9:02... we're talking 9:00).

The Townsquare Media Hummer, courtesy of Carville's AutoMart, was #9 in the parade, just a few spaces behind the Palisade High School marching band.

This is the good stuff. People of all ages lined the parade route. Thank you to all who participated and attended.
