High School Kicker Nails 61-Yard Record Breaking Field Goal [VIDEO]

A high school kicker from St. Mary's Springs in Fond du Lak, Wis. accomplishes a feat that most college and pro football players only dream of.

Zach Hintze, the kicker for St. Mary's Springs high school football team boots a 61-yard field goal during a game against Algoma, and that's not his first long kick of the year.

Hintze had nailed a 57-yard field goal earlier in the year.

The conditions were cold, the ball was hard and the teams was initially set up for a fake. Hintze takes his mark, the ball flies off his foot and through the uprights, Bob Hyland told the Fond du Lak Reporter.
