You know, breakfast really is the most important meal of the day, at least to some people. What could be better than ice cream? It has dairy, and depending on what you add to it, a full day's supply of simple sugar, and then some.

February 3 is "Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Day." According to the website Holiday Insights, this "holiday" was created to combat the winter blues.

A mom in Rochester, NY. decided it was time to give her kids something to look forward to, other than another day of gray skies and snowfall. So, she created this day with her two young boys. It sure did the trick, if only for a little while.- Holiday Insights
