UPDATE: The Grand Junction Police Department has apprehended Omar Olivas.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Grand Junction Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a violent felony suspect.

In a Crime Stoppers of Mesa County report, the suspect, Omar Olivas, is being sought for multiple felony charges,

Olivas is a 24-year-old Hispanic male, 5-feet 7-inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes and numerous tattoos on his body.

Police consider Olivas violent and possibly armed, so if you see him do not approach but do call the Grand Junction Police Department at 970-2426707
