One of the great things about Grand Junction is the abundance of beautiful  weather during the summer, making it easy to enjoy an outdoor meal at one of these patio dining spots.

  • The Ale House

2531 North 12th Street, Grand Junction

This is long time favorite for patio dining. There's plenty of shade, a grassy area to relax or let restless children play. Depending on the day, you may also be treated to some live music to go along with the great appetizers, a full meal, and their amazing specialty drinks.

  • Rockslide Restaurant and Brewery

    401 Main Street, Grand Junction

This downtown restaurant offers two patio areas. There's the open patio in front where you can dine surrounded by some great interactive sculptures and watch the bustle of Main Street. The other more private patio is nestled between the restaurant and the building next door. In addition to the great menu, you can enjoy one of the several varieties of Rockslide's microbrews.

  • Hot Tomato Cafe

    124 North Mulberry Street, Fruita

The menu is simple, pizza and beer or soft drinks. Make your way to the counter, order, pick a table and enjoy some of the best pizza in the valley. There is a covered patio along one side of the restaurant and tables with umbrellas for shade out back. This place is a favorite with bicyclists or anyone looking for casual food and fun.

  • Kannah Creek Brewery

1960 North 12th Street, Grand Junction

This is a cool place to dine both inside and outside. Try one of their award winning brews and enjoy some homemade bread, pizza, and amazing salads while relaxing with friends and family while frenzied drivers zip by on 12th Street wishing they were there with you.

  • Edgewater Brewery

    905 Struthers Avenue, Grand Junction

This is Kannah Creek's younger sibling and a great place to visit after a walk or bicycle ride on the Riverfront Trail. Refuel with a burger or salad and one of their hand-crafted brews and enjoy your meal at a picnic table on the lawn and play one of the backyard games.

  • 626 On Rood

    626 Rood Avenue, Grand Junction

Amazing food, cocktails, and wine are only part of the reason people head to the patio here. Amusement Hour 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. offers drink specials and shared menu items. Stick around for dinner and you can make it a night out. Plus, the patio is dog-friendly, so your four-legged pal can relax and enjoy, too.

  • Bin 707

    225 North 5th Street #105

Outdoor dining here is awesome afternoon and evening thanks to the large umbrellas and the shade of the Alpine Bank building. Start with a great beverage, then choose from a menu that ranges from simple to exquisite. Some say the burger is the best in town and is one of the patio dining favorites.
