There’s a great family event at the Botanical Gardens, and an adult party at the amphitheater at Las Colonias. For those that prefer to stay indoors, there’s the fly fishing film festival at the Avalon.

Take a self-guided tour through selected homes in Fruita, Grand Junction, and Palisade. Tickets are just $10 and available at City Market locations in Fruita and Grand Junction.
You don’t necessarily have to be a fly fisherman to enjoy or attend this event at the Avalon Theatre. Tickets are $16 in advance, $20 at the door and include a couple of beverages, and tons of giveaways. This is a fundraiser for the Grand Valley Anglers chapter of Trout Unlimited.
A dozen breweries will be on hand to serve up the beer to go along with German fare and live music from Williams Brothers Band, Bicycle Annie, Clyde and the Milltalers, Tim and Richard, and Chalet Dancers.
A benefit for Strive’s Child and Family Programs, this is a family-friendly event at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens. It’s a 3K walk and roll, plus a children’s fun festival, with lunch, games, activities, and music
18 holes of golf and lunch to benefit the work of the Roice-Hurst Humane Society. It’s $300 for a four-person team at Adobe Creek Golf Course in Fruita.
