There are quite a number of things to do on this Veteran's Day weekend. In addition to the Veteran's Day Parade, and the free Colorado National Monument weekend, you can get out and exercise for a good cause, or maybe satisfy your need for live theater or support local high school football teams as they battle for state supremacy. Here are a few suggestions you may have missed.

Our Town - CMU Theater

Willy Lohman and sons return to the Grand Valley brought to you by the Theater Department at Colorado Mesa University. Showtime is 2 P.M. All ages welcome.

This fundraiser for Pear Park Elementary will be held at Long's Park on Saturday. Get out and exercise, bring the kids and help raise money for the school. For more information, call (970) 254-5960.

In addition to the Veteran's Day parade, artwork made by Veterans will be on display from 1-8 PM with a variety of activities going on throughout the day. Veterans storytelling, as well as a silent auction, are a few of the things you will be able to enjoy.

Excellent food and drink, silent and live auctions as well as music from the movies, you can be sure you will have a Hollywood Night to enjoy.

A fun, audience interactive show that has a murder occurred during a Shakespearean death scene. A fun who dun it that may turn out to be you done it.

Now that sounds like a fun and interesting way to spend the weekend. Share your ideas for this weekend and let's have some fun!.
