Three players remain in contention for the World Series of Poker's $10 million main event top prize.

The last players standing — all European — survived nearly 12 hours of no-limit Texas Hold 'em poker from Monday night into Tuesday morning, when play was suspended.

Jorryt (YOUR-ee) van Hoof from the Netherlands led the pack during most of the session and will do so going into Tuesday night with the highest chip count.

He faces Martin Jacobson of Sweden and Felix Stephensen of Norway when the three reconvene starting at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The final nine players outplayed about 6,700 others who each paid $10,000 for a chance last summer at the $10 million prize.
