Final AP Weekly Poll for Colorado High School Fooball for Halloween Week

With most Colorado high schools entering football playoffs this week, the Associated Press released its weekly poll for two of the seven Colorado football classifications. The two classifications – Class 4A and Class 3A – are entering their last weekend of the regular season before entering playoffs next week.

In Class 4A, the top six teams remain unchanged from last week. The top teams in Class 4A this week are:

1. Pine Creek
2. Fort Collins
3. Montrose
4. Pueblo South
5. Denver South
6. Vista Ridge
7. Dakota Ridge
8. Windsor
9. Longmont
10. Broomfield

The top teams in Class 3A also remain unchanged from last week. This week’s top teams are:

1. Lutheran
2. Discovery Canyon
3. Evergreen
4. Roosevelt
5. Rifle
6. Holy Family
7. Palisade
8. Fort Morgan
9. Canon City and Delta (tie)

The rankings in Class 3A could change slightly next week, depending on the outcome of this weekend’s games. No. 7 Palisade will host No. 9 Delta Friday night at Stocker Stadium. ESPN Radio 1230 will broadcast the Palisade-Delta game beginning at 6:30 p.m.
