Fall on the Grand Mesa. Nothing beats it. Mesa Creek, also known as Old Powderhorn, offers unbelievable fall views on its moderate hike.

It's a pretty short hike at around 2.5 miles round trip, with moderate difficulty because of its uphill nature. Most of the hike you can listen to the sound of the creek trickling down beside you.

In a short amount of time, you go from a field of color changing brush to being fully emerged in color changing aspens. Lava rocks also greet you near the top, which creates a beautiful contrast with the yellow aspen trees.
