A Facebook post is going around saying the next Star Wars installment will be filmed near Pueblo, Colo. and you're probably wondering how you can be part of it. Well, let's find out.

In short, you can't. It's a trap.

A "news" site, dailynews11.com, posted a story on their website stating "a portion of the next Star Wars movie will be filmed just outside of Pueblo, Colorado," and that Pueblo "represent a previously unknown planet in the Star Wars universe."

Sounds awesome, right. Well, thanks to the internet, we found out that some of Star Wars will also be filmed in Massachusetts, Seatle, Boston, Vancouver, Alice Springs, Chattanooga, and the list goes on and on and on. You'll probably notice one thing about these stories. The first paragraph is the same.

Numerous news outlets are reporting that a portion of the next Star Wars movie will be filmed just outside of ...

Sites like dailynews11, are satire/fantasy news sites (they're words, not ours). These sites take the story and plug in any city/state name they like to spark local interest. The worst part, most people fall for it.

Sorry to go all Death Star on your dreams, but Star Wars is NOT being filmed in Colorado.

Remember, if it's on the internet it's always never true.
