Does Grand Junction need better Broadband Service? The question is on the table, and the time to put in your thoughts is now.

Grand Junction is hosting public meetings today to capture input as a Broadband Master Plan is being put together by the city.

As we all know, the internet is a part of everything that we do daily. The city is hoping to get input from all different types of business and the public to find out what the needs are, and what kinds of internet speed is needed here.

If you would like to chime in, here is the information you need to know. Meeting is scheduled for the following:

1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for technology industry professionals

2:45 to 4:15 p.m. for members of the lodging industry

5:30 to 6:45 p.m. for the general public.

All meetings will be held in the auditorium at City Hall, 250 N. Fifth St in Grand Junction.

There is also a Grand Junction’s broadband survey, which can be found at on the Grand Junction City website under the Broadband Master Plan tab, which everyone is encouraged to take.
