DENVER (AP) — Danilo Gallinari says he has "no idea" when he will return to the court as he recovers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.

For now, the Denver Nuggets forward is limited to rehabbing in the weight room from the injury he suffered last April. He said Monday he occasionally shoots free throws.

As for concerns over losing his touch from the 3-point line, Gallinari smiled and said, "It's always there."

Off to a 2-4 start, the Nuggets sure could use the long-range shooting of Gallinari. He will be a big boost for first-year coach Brian Shaw once he returns to the court.

Gallinari hurt his knee against Dallas when he planted awkwardly while going in for a layup. He's undergone two surgeries on the knee.
