Colorado Mesa Women Basketball Rank No. 2 Nationally

In the latest national rankings, Colorado Mesa women’s basketball team has made program history by rising to No. 2 in the nation.

USA Today/WBCA NCAA Division II released the weekly rankings earlier today, listing the Lady Mavericks as number 2, right behind top-ranked Bentley (Mass.).

Both Colorado Mesa and Bentley are the only undefeated teams in Division II women’s basketball.

The No. 2 ranking is the highest Colorado Mesa has earned in program history.

The Lady Mavericks will be at home this weekend. CMU will host Colorado School of Mines at 5:30 p.m. Friday and Colorado Christian at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
