The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Tuesday released its all-conference teams for both women’s and men’s soccer teams. First and second teams consist of four forwards, four midfielders, four defensive players and a goalkeeper and are considered all-conference.

In women’s soccer, Colorado Mesa University players Taylor Bruno, Marie Dreher, Sarah Schnetzler and Emma Thompson were all named honorable mention by the RMAC.

In men’s soccer, Colorado Mesa defenseman Blake Carlson was named to the first team, and was also named RMAC defensive player of the year. CMU forward Roy Abergil was also named to the first team after leading the Mavericks in both goals and points this season.

Four other CMU players were named to the RMAC second team. They are Stan Schrock, Micah Conrads, Nestor Escobar and Austin Jex.

The CMU men’s soccer team will host the semifinals and championship game of the RMAC tournament at Walker Field on Friday and Sunday. The Mavericks will play either Fort Lewis or Colorado-Colorado Springs in the RMAC semifinals at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
