USA Rugby has selected women its annual Women’s Collegiate All-Americans (first and second teams), and a Colorado Mesa University student was among the many athletes receiving the honor.

Colorado Mesa forward Mindy McCracken was named a second team All-American forward. McCracken joins a group of 52 other players that made the list for the All-Americans second team.

Another Colorado student also made the All-Americans list as well. Colorado State University forward Madison Williams to the All-Americans first team.

Each member of the 2013-14 Women's Collegiate All-Americans was selected from a list of nominations submitted by collegiate coaches and conference commissioners around the country. The list of student-athletes are considered a representation of a diverse range of universities both large and small.

All-American Head Coach Martha Daines, who was on the committee to select the All-American teams, said this about this year’s selections:

The final selections for the All-American list were difficult decisions, as there are many players deserving recognition for their continuation on and off the field this season. Players in the college game are more skilled than ever, and I’m sure we overlooked some outstanding players. My staff and I would like to thank the nominators for taking the time to identify players for the honor.
