Colorado Mesa University’s men’s soccer team is definitely on a roll.

In Sunday’s game against University of Colorado-Colorado Springs at Walker Field, the Mavericks earned their sixth consecutive win by defeating the Mountain Lions 1-0.

Sunday’s match also marks the third straight game in which Colorado Mesa won by a 1-0 score.

The solo goal by the Mavericks came from Roy Abergil, who scored in the 25TH minute. According to a CMU new release, it was Abergil’s sixth goal and fifth game-winning goal of the season of the season, putting him among the nation’s best in the category.

Next game for Colorado Mesa is Wednesday, when the Mavericks take on Colorado Mines in Golden. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
