On Monday, the NCAA announced its selections for the men's soccer championship tournament for Division II. Colorado Mesa University is among the 35 teams that made it into tournament play.

Colorado Mesa earned the No. 2 seed in the South Central region. Colorado Mesa's first game in the NCAA tournament is set for this Sunday (November 16), when the Mavericks will host No. 3 seed Midwestern State at Walker Field, 12th Street and Orchard Avenue in Grand Junction. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.

Tickets for Sunday's game will go on sale at 12:00 noon Tuesday (November 11), and can be purchased at tickets.cmumavericks.com.

This marks the first time that Colorado Mesa's men's soccer team has advanced to the NCAA tournament in the program's short history.
