Colorado Mesa Men’s Soccer Advances to NCAA Sweet Sixteen

Colorado Mesa University’s men’s soccer team has consistently done well this season, and the team’s good performance is carrying over into the postseason.

The Mavericks on Sunday advanced to the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament with a 1-0 win over Midwestern State. Sunday’s win came in a second round match of the NCAA Tournament at Walker Field in Grand Junction.

Colorado Mesa will now face St. Edward’s, who is the No. 1 seed in the South Central region. The match is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. (Mountain Time) on Thursday in Seattle, Washington.
