The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced on Monday its weekly standings in college football, and one of Colorado Mesa University’s players received special recognition.

The RMAC named CMU’s Austin Pitchford as the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Pitchford set a RMAC record Saturday with 12 punts for 560 yards, and ranks second in the nation in punting at 45.5 yards per punt.

The RMAC also named Cameron McDondle of CSU-Pueblo as Offensive Player of the Week and Jared Koster of New Mexico Highlands as Defensive Player of the Week.
