Clemson Tops College Playoff Rankings

UNDATED (AP) — Clemson, Auburn, Oklahoma and Wisconsin will enter championship weekend positioned to earn a playoff spot with just one more victory.

Clemson moved up to No. 1 in the final College Football Playoff rankings before the semifinals are set by the selection committee on Sunday. But the selection committee could be faced with a choice between Alabama and Ohio State.

The 11-1 Crimson Tide has no wins against teams currently in the top 15 and it is done playing, but the 10-2 Buckeyes have two losses by double digits, including a 31-point blowout at Iowa.
