This is a pretty frightening scene.

A car in Suffield, Conn. wound up stuck upright on the road after it got caught in some power lines earlier this week when a pole snapped right in front of the vehicle.

The woman behind the wheel of the car, Lisa Beaulieu, was driving her two children, ages 4 and 5, when they got trapped in the lines as hail fell during a rainstorm.

"We were really scared," Beaulieu said. "I was worried we were going to fall, the cable was going to break or the wire was live....We could see the telephone pole break and fall in front of us. And I couldn't stop and we ended up getting tangled up in the wires."

Fire officials arrived on the scene after Beaulieu called 911 and everyone was freed from the car without any injuries.
