Although there has been little talk about Braxton Miller recently, the Ohio State quarterback will soon clear up any speculation on his future.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, Miller will "announce his immediate plans next week." This leaves the door open for the possibility of a transfer, but Ohio State has maintained all spring that he would return for his final season with the Buckeyes.

"(Miller)'s playing for Ohio State (this) fall," Meyer said in May.

Miller could transfer to the school of his choice and be eligible to play this season under the NCAA graduate transfer rules. That, along with the defending national champions returning three stars at quarterback, has led to speculation that Miller might look elsewhere for his final year of college football.

One school mentioned throughout the process has been Alabama, who has yet to identify a starting quarterback for 2015. Multiple visits to the state of Alabama this offseason furtherfueled those rumors, but many have maintained that he's only been in the area to visit with Birmingham orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews about his surgically-repaired shoulder.

It's that medical staff that gave the quarterback a positive update on his health this week.

We know he'll be ready to go this fall, but fans will finally get an answer on where he'll be playing from the quarterback himself sometime after the 4th of July weekend.

UPDATE: The Columbus Dispatch has since reported that Miller will not transfer from Ohio State but will instead update his rehab and talk about the upcoming season.
