A spokesman for the three-time heavyweight champion says Ali has a mild case of pneumonia that was caught early and should result in a short hospital stay. The spokesman says the 72-year-old Ali is being treated by his team of doctors and is in stable condition.

The family has requested that no other details be released, including the hospital's location, according to the spokesman.
