5 Reasons You Should Utilize Mesa County’s ‘Call A Lawyer Night’
Do you have questions regarding a legal matter? You might want to take advantage of this public service available to Mesa County residents.
The next Call-A-Lawyer Night is coming up Thursday, July 19. I know that's a long way down the road, but it warrants being jotted down on your calendar. Phones will be open from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This is an opportunity to discuss your legal questions with an attorney at no charge.
It might be my imagination, but it seems one used to hear about these all the time. In the last few years, I've not heard mention of them. Fortunately, I've not needed a lawyer. As it turns out, this service is offered every other month on the third Thursday of that month.
Why should you utilize this free service? Here are my top five reasons:
- Free. I don't know if you've hired a lawyer lately, but they're not cheap. This service is available at no charge.
- All calls are anonymous
- This service might just open your eyes to possibilities you weren't aware of.
- Looking back on my life, I've attempted to deal with matters which really did warrant legal advice. This would have been a great place to start rather than trying to deal with matters on my own.
- This is access to information. What do you have to lose?
The number to call is 970-256-4001. It might be wise to call around 8 p.m. It seems phones can get jammed when the event gets underway at 7 p.m.
Take advantage of this free service. Again, what do you have to lose? This service is provided by the Mesa County Bar Association.
